The World and the Advertising Agency
Business has been a big part of man’s life throughout the years- from the before the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ down to the warring nations of the World War II up to now. And in the midst of its progress is the mounting and expanding size of innovations on how to make it more profitable and beneficial to the human society. One thing that contributes to its entirety is advertising or in simple word, publicity. Business owners do their publicity in various ways, either they do the job or they let others do it just like advertising agencies do.
In the present, where everything seems to be complicated, one is really having a hard time complying with everything’s requirements because of the complexities that have grown, especially in the business world. Advertising is the aspect that a business or any other enterprise which requires publicity that needs to be optimized primarily because of financial feedbacks, secondly, for establishment of name and thirdly for societal reasons. With these things on mind, organizations give the dirty job to the people who know well in image-making, commercials (either radio or television), branding strategies, and any other sales promotions that may apply to the product or the event to be promoted- they are called advertising agency.
So what is an advertising agency? It is a commercial organization dedicated to planning, creating and handling advertising for clients who wants to increase and build their publicity. Way back 1786, from the advent of ad agencies, up to now, several types of ad agencies have existed such as generalized advertising agency whose basic interest is to branding, specialist branding agency who’s got specialization in particular kinds of advertising, in-house agency which is built exclusively for an organization’s advertising matters and the latter types of agencies who came successfully with technology, namely, interactive agency, social media agency and search engine agency.
